    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Don't use information gathered outside of the game, to effect your character within the game. Don't bring knowledge you yourself have, into the game where your character may not know what you know.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Going above and beyond the physical limitations of your character. Don't say that you can do certain acts outside of a realistic application of said acts. You can't force others to take what you say, you must offer a rebuttal/defense time.

You’ve just stepped off of the boat in the port of a massive and fortified city. Before you lies a sprawling bazaar, with numerous shops, stalls, and seated traders selling wares to folk of all walks of life. Just as you’re about to continue walking onwards, into the market, you’re approached by a well-dressed gentleman who looks upon you with a big smile. “Welcome!” He began. “What brings you to this lovely city? Adventure? Wealth? Or some grand aspirations to elevate your place in society?” 
How do you respond?

 

” Adventure, how about ya young fella?” I ask in return. “ I plan on adventuring through your mines up in the mountain,” I explain.

Physical Description: I am a stocky Dwarf, with a short cut beard unlike others around me. My hair is jet black with blue eyes (rare for a dwarf). I am quite heavy aswell.
