Roebuck approaches the scene hesitantly, floating his lantern up above his head to illuminate the way ahead. It takes a few moments, but Wright finally reciprocates a well-meaning smile to the man, stating plainly: "My days of adventure are behind me, ha-ha. Nothing of the sort…" He brashly waves a hand, evidently irritated by the slur of ongoing conversations and trades. "If it wouldn't trouble you, could you point me in the direction of the nearest library? I've much to read, and far more to write."
