You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Short Example: I'd squint at the woman, seeming not only on edge, but concerned by her hospitality. Sitting down where she gestured, I'd start; "Not that it's any of your business... but I've been traveling through a couple villages for the last 3 years. Helping out at the orphanage got old and I made enough money to leave at a local bakery.." I'd pause, shrugging my shoulders while avoiding eye contact. "Apologies for interrupting you and.." I'd gesture at the candle lit set up, "Whatever you were doing. Was jus' trying to find a place to crash."
Best way to imagine Brooklyn is a cute and innocent looking girl with a surprising attitude.
