You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Kinostrea having just walked in furrows her brow in a bit of confusion and looks behind her as to see if someone else is there. Seeing no one else she take a seat on the cushion and extends her hand to shake the ladys. Just like that Kinostrea begins to tell her story, she says. "Hi, im Kinostrea I come from the city of Mizu, you may not have heard of it. Mizu used to be a peaceful town spanning only a few miles to each side, enclosed by a canopy of trees. It was there I learned most of my survival skills, raid parties would come often enough but it was always something we could handle, until the fateful day. It turns out all the little raids were a distraction to surround us and pinch us from all sides." The lady seems to be listening with great attention as Kinostrea continues on. "I scattered out of my bedroom grabbing my shoes and a dagger and hid in the trees, I watched my whole village either get captured or killed. There was only one other survivor, I gathered the remains of my families possessions including my dads cloak" Kinostrea pauses for a second as she shrugs her shoulders as if to indicate it is the one she is wearing before she continues. "And I set off to find a new purpose. I spent years learning how to live off of the streets until I found a party of adventurers, we had a good run." Kinsotrea seems to be smiling sadly as she holds up a quite well drawn portrait of the group (1 human girl dressed in fancy clothes with a circlet on her head, 1 buff Green Orc wearing cufflinks and a bow tie, 1 frog in a wizards hat and then there's Kinostrea, with her cloak looking a lot less tattered than it does now, the group looks happy, but by the way Kinosrea looks at it something must have happened. Suddenly she perks back up a little shaking off the sadness that was looming above her, and seeming about to boast she says "Did you know Tiamat is real ??? Well we meet her and defeated her, that's where our journey ended since this little guy *she taps on the frog wearing the wizard hat* had to go and sacrifice himself to save the rest of us." Kinostrea pretends to roll her eyes at that last sentence and then looks fondly at the picture before tucking it back away. Then moves on to explain why she is here. "After that I settled in the capital for a little while but I'm not ready to leave the adventuring life, i need to be strong for the day our little friend will come back. I'm hopping to find some adventures here." As Kinostrea finishes her story she smiles at the woman and nods her head slightly awaiting the news for adventure.
