Vox was a loner at most. He rarely mingled with his classmates but always aced them. He was the typical dark, mysterious but intelligent boy. He’s a master at archery and has some taste in music. At home, he helped out with his family’s farm house and always found himself in the field playing with his small, frail pup, Mikaela.
That’s only the gist of everything.
Vox, in his free hours, would dream to climb the mountainous regions of Výranni and to leave the docile home of Vectra. Though he dreamed often, others would percieve Vox to be an airhead; one that lacks interest in reality. This would lead to punishment, both physical and emotional, from his proud parents, attempting to save their name from their child’s disgrace.
Upon reaching his 18th birthday, the supposed age for humans to end their adolescent years, Vox planned an escape. He couldn’t wait to get this fantasy from the clouds of his minds, to his actual mind being in the clouds of Výranni.
The animals shifted with discomfort. The trees seemed to glare at him with disappointment. Vox is disgracing his family, escaping education for a risky life in the wild. He thought in his head, ‘’My parents have punished me enough. This built up tough skin should help me out there...’’ He picks up Mikaela, ruffling her fur and kissing goodbye. ‘’Until next time, big girl.’’
With short success, partially from his parents’ exhaustion from farm work, he exiled himself from Vectra. Though not fully exiled, one can assume that Vox wouldn’t turn his back from the adventure that waits for him ahead.
