Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"Um.. well, i really don't have a story.." he says quietly, whilst trying to avoid the hag's gaze. His voice is barely audible, almost a whisper. He makes his way to the couch she gestured to, sitting down on it with uncertainty. His knees are almost at his chest, he wrings his hands together unsure of what to say. "I- i'm sorry.. i didn't mean to bother you" he continues quickly, with his voice shaking. "I'm... just.. trying to find someone. I think." he trails off, feeling the weight of the hag's piercing stare on him, and fidgets nervously
