    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Taking IC (in character) information out into OOC (out of character) in order to prevent a certain situation, or gather help for something about to happen. Metagaming can also be providing your location, etc to people OOCLY. For example, someone lets someone else know there's a raid OOCLY, and that person decides to come along without being notified of the raid ICLY. Therefore, they'd be metagaming because there isn't any way that their character knew there was something like that happening at that exact moment.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Unrealistically performing actions against someone else's will. In other words, making an action that also actions for someone else, or just unrealistic actions in general. For example, if someone runs 'perfectly' in 10 inch heels, and then for example acts a few handsprings etc without falling or imperfections, it'd be very unrealistic because it's more likely than not that you'd fall before even flipping in the first place.
