You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
"Do I know you?" The herbalist sits on the cushion and fiddles with his satchel. "I'm Elio, a traveling herbalist. Just a healer, wandering the land and helping people.
I'm a highlander. I learned combat from my family, but ran away before I had to join the army. My gramma taught me about herbs and remedies. You kind of remind me of her. Sorry for getting off track, but that's my story. Is there anything else you need?"
BACKSTORY
Elio Ascia is a traveling Highlander herbalist roaming the land, curing all manners of ailments. He grew up normally, training his body physically during the da, and learning about herbs and remedies with his grandmother in the evenings. When he was of age to join the military, he lied about joining the army, and ran away to make to make the world a healthier place. He's constantly moving and traveling arouynd the world, to evade his parents.
