Her parents moved to Marna when it was first created after the Holy Orenian Empire dissolved into Marna. As a child Racel knew only cruility. Her mother favored her much more talented brothers over her. Racel’s father was violent, and he often terrorized her. After her father returned home late one night he lashed out at her, permanently blinding her in her right eye. The eye has gone dead and lost all pigment, she tries to cover it with her bangs. She is traumatized, and prefers not to talk about it with strangers.
However, she knew an Elvish women when she was a child, who was the only positive influence on her life. Ever sense then Racel wants to learn all about Wood Elf culture. She wants to visit and possibly live in the Dominon of Malin. Racel hopes to have a more positive and peaceful adult life.

She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
