You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Grognar walks in, and sits down before saying, "Listen, I know you want to hear my story, but would you happen to have anything for a weary traveler to drink?". Grognar takes a drink, he then tells his life's story to the old hag, exaggerating some details, and talks about people who probably don't exist. The hag responds, "It seems you've had quite the life so far, but tell me, how do you think it'll end?". Grognar replies, "Peacefully, if not...we'll just have to wait and see". Grognar gets up and thanks the hag for the drink before leaving.
