Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"Me?"
*The man sits down on the cushion the old woman pointed to*
"I used to be a noble from a high-ranking family, but after some time, the empire that I was part of started collapsing and I fled from my homeland. While running, I stumbled upon a group of guards from an enemy kingdom and once they saw me they didn't hesitate to attack."
"Luckily, my family was based around swordsmanship so it wasn't too much of a hassle to deal with them."
*The noble-man shifts on his pillow*
"As for how I got in this 'town', let's just say an old friend me brought me here. And that's all. But now that I told you my story, how about you tell me yours."
