    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is basically when others cant properly role play correctly with other peoples characters, meaning they usually fail to stay in character. Using the knowledge you have as a person by not as your character in game as in about communications and secrets. Which makes so that they affect the characters roleplay or even actively interfering with it which includes pre-emptive strikes based off knowledge the character doesn't have
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is extending the powers of your character beyond of what's possible for this character in terms of RP, using ways the player only has access too not the character which is in short terms a bit unfair
