In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Possessing knowlege the PC shouldn't possess and attempting to use it. Like knowing someone is a werewolf or vampire without having evidence presented in game.
In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Doing things that are realistically impossible or improbable in an attempt to force a particular ourtcome. Such as cutting through a gorget with a butter knife instantly killing your opponent.

Burolim was a son of a farmer born on the foothills of the chalk mountains. Early in his life he was captured by slavers spending many years as a slave before managing to break free. He spent the next 40 years wandering the world as a sellsword learning to fight on land and sea. Through his many friendships during these years he learned basic first aid, grew to appreciate the art of crafting a fine meal. Through all this though he never forgot the mountains of his home. When he wasn't fighting wander bandits or protecting caravans he grew ever better at his most loved craft. That of delving beneath the earth searching for rare minerals with which he attempted to craft things of incredible beauty. Though he never truly succeed at bringing to life what was bound within his mind he never wavered in his journey for betterment. Having traveled the world from Warhawks in the north to Fenn in the south. From towering Kaz'Urlah in the west to mighty Krugmar in the east fighting every variety of foul creature he yearns for something more. Perhaps this yearning will manifest itself as a desire to learn magics both foul and fair. Maybe it will be devotion to a god. Or maybe it will be in the subtle sounds of caverns deep beneath the earth. However it arises one thing is certain. His story is not yet done.

My previous backstory did not make me a noble nor anyone of high birth. He was a sellsword which after serving faithfully became a retainer of a high house basically a servant he was granted no lands or titles. In other words he's a house guard. Some things on this page need updating. If being in a clan or faction is not allowed even in a non noble or famous way stipulate that. Also if an example is required stipulate that as well. Don't say "Feel free," then in the denial imply "Must". In my last application I defined in my own words what metagaming is. In your own sites words it is, "Mostly it consists of the character knowing something that he would not know" For the record I wrote, "The PC (player character) knowing stuff they shouldn't know." This was said to be wrong. Now if that was too close to the original that's fine but it most certainly isn't wrong.

Thank you for your time.

They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

((How does your character respond? Please ensure your response is at least six sentences long, and uses at least two actions.))

On the behalf of the Application team, I warmly welcome you to the Lord of The Craft community. I hope you the best of luck as you explore and roleplay on Atlas!

You’ll be whitelisted and implemented very shortly, you may also want to check out “ The New Player Discord ” for questions or dwell deeper into the wiki if times allow it.

While in

game you can also use /atreq [message] for any assistance you might need from an Application Member or directly message me in game - /msg MadYeAd. Not to mention that /help is a very helpful command that should be utilized.
