Bellicah was born in the year FA 1743, along with her twin Jackson. Raised by their parents in Varhelm, Jack and Bellicah were restless, hyperactive children. They both took lessons in the sword and in various arts, such as singing and statue making, yet Bellicah only showed proficiency in metal sculpture. At the young age of 34 the twins ran away from home in an attempt to make a life for themselves. Jack went to Haense, and Bellicah went to Providence for an education. She had almost no money and for an Elf was considered a teenager, so she asked students to tutor her in their spare time. She made a living by creating small statues for people, some from stone but most from metal. She became a bit of a jack-of-all-trades over her 36 years there. A few months after her 70th, she received a letter from Jack asking her to help him find a friend of his. So she went back to Elysium, Jack's home, to assist him.
She smiles at the man, and replies, "I wish to visit your beautiful city, of course. My name is Bellicah Crane. Who are you?"
The man's grin widens. "Why, I'm the owner of the local inn. We sell good food and ale, and provide a place to stay, if you need."
The sign for the inn is barely visible behind a banner for another shop. The painting on the sign shows a yellow bird with its mouth agape, as if squawking.
She turns back to her greeter. "I might buy a room for the night, innkeeper. How much for one bed?"
