    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Using knowledge during gameplay that you wouldn't know while in character. This can include things like discord or skype to get help from friends.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Preventing people you are roleplaying with from making their own decisions by "controlling" their character. For example, someone could say "i slice (insert name here)'s foot off" which doesnt let the person being attacked choose what happens to them.

Hugh is a Highlander who was born in Markev, capital of Haense. Despite being raised by Highlanders, Hugh’s faith stuck with the Canonist Church at a very young age. Fascinated by tales of the Crusades led by Daniel the Second, Hugh wished that he could fight to carry out such a noble goal as that in his own lifetime. So, he became obsessed with it. Throughout his childhood he was ridiculed for holding onto history so much, but he held true to his belief. Once he became an adult, his family (relatively poor Highlanders who were once noble warriors in the distant past) disowned him due to the attention he was attracting. From there Hugh became an a active participant in the Church of Canon and eventually forged armor designed around the crusades of Daniel the Second. This was his most expensive possession and as such he has worn it to this day. He holds distaste towards elves, as he feels that elves should have been completely eradicated after the Third Atlas Coalition War. Despite being of strong faith, Hugh often has violent outbursts towards elves while wandering around Markev at night (for he still lives there to this day, not daring to leave the boundaries of Hanse).

Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
