Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
*He takes a seat slowly and stretches back in the seat, taking a moment before speaking*
"I'm from a far-off land, not known to many, and even me. I've been away from it so long I've forgotten its name"
*He takes a moment, drawing in a sharp breath of air before continuing*
"I trudged on through perilous whether to make it here in hopes of making a living as one thing I do remember, my hometown was quite poor with little oppertunities to make any money or other income."
"Other than that, my story has no more to it."
