    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: When you take your own information out of character and suddenly give it to your character with no explanation how they got that power. For example, learning about a character's weakness through the forum page then immediately hopping online and exploiting said weakness.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Making a character that is too overpowered i.e. a mary su or gary stu, saying you're too powerful to die or be hit. It also includes things such as doing unrealistic things and forcing emotes onto other people, ignoring the things that people do, etc. For example, making your character always win in combat, forcing death on other people, always getting away from the law, etc.

Your application has been put on pending, as there are changes needing to be made before you may be accepted, as follows:

 

  • Your Metagaming and Powergaming Definitions are on the right track, though they’re not quite there. Take another look at our Wiki’s definitions for help, and I recommend including examples so I can tell you fully understand!

  • Your Character Biography is a bit short. Please include at least 10 sentences. If you don’t know what to add, I recommend thinking more about your character’s backstory. Where are they from, what were their parents like, why are they how they are…?

  • Your Character Biography states that  he was born in Elvenesse. Elvenesse only has existed for this map. However, it is a mix of Siramenor and Aegrothond from last map, so you could subsitute your birth nation for one of those.

  • Your Skin does not match your character’s race. Please correct this accordingly! He needs to be darker. Wood elves are not white people.

 

If you do not make these changes within 24 hours, your application will be denied. When you are finished, please message me on discord @拿铁#1608
