Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
The halfling stares in disuadement and judgingly for a large period of time before speaking: "I am nothing special, a simple traveler." The Halfling says as they pull a chair close and sit down. "You, yourself. . . Maybe we can speak on your own path?" The Halfling smiles, clicking his tongue."However, I may tell you a bit. . . IN SONG!" Alexi quipped as he pulled out a kazoo. "I once drove a caravan, full of pretty ladies and dogs. That day I was returning, I saw some random man wearing clogs. . . It was odd encounter, no doubt a tough render, no shop no day in the morn. But when I saw that, there was more outside my village, I decided to leave before I ended up in a stillage." The man rhymed as much as he could, before playing his kazoo in hand. The kazoo aired its noisy instrumental as he continued on his song, much to the dismay of the individual before them. He quit the song, "Ah that doesn't sound too right. . . Uh - Yes! I was a caravan driver for most of the people in my village, hauling goods in and around the village but. . I dreamed of being' something more, y'know? Maybe, I thought, in time I could just explore." The boy state, humming softly. . . "But that's entirely it, no special backstory and all. . . So, why were ya' expecting me?"
From a village in a far distant mountain, Alexi often prefers to be alone due to how often he finds people bothersome, a loner and a begger. A traveler's heart but a warrior's hide, as he will defend himself with whatever he has on him. Alexi has no special backstory, nothing wrong with him besides the urge to travel, yet Alexi didn't like his current life. Azuras has been a challenge, yet he is more than ready to face them, kazoo in hand.
