Maren was born to Theodor, a fisherman and Caryn, the local bakers daughter. Theo, as he was nicked names always dreamt of the sea. When he his only child, Maren, her name means “of the sea” in the hopes that see would fulfill. At an early age she learned how to fish and the local fish in the Cenza River in the Kingdom of Haense, where she lived. To her fathers great joy she embraced her teachings and grew to love them. Because of this she was often seen as a “tom-boy” by the other girls around her. She would rather gut, prepare and cook a dish rather than do normal girl tasks. In her late teens her father died, leaving her to care for her aging mother. This made her stressed but she learned valuable lessons on self awareness and dependence. At age 18 her story has yet to be told....
