Born in 1636 during Axios's last years, Eden was raised in isolation due to his illness-prone childhood, with overly doting parents. He doesn't recall much of his old home as a result, having spent most of his time indoors. After his family's migration to Atlas, they settled in a small towny within the Kingdom of Renatus. His life was modest, and though his health greatly improved after settling in Atlas, Eden continued to stay to himself. He exhibited a passion in scholarly pursuits, burying himself within every book he could find. Eventually, after coming across The History of Magic, he was inspired by tales of the Wandering Wizard and his curiosity peaked by The Void. Eden dreamed of becoming a mage, and read day and night to sate that curiosity and need for knowledge. Rigorous independent studying could only get him so far, however, and on the sunrise of his 18th birthday he left home in search of someone to take him as an apprentice.
