Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
Duncanstan responds with
"I have travelled far to get here." "You definitely weren't easy to find"
"My story wll thats a long one it stared with my parents they were both leather workers by trade" Duncanstan ensures to look around and ensure where the exits are. "Then one day our village got raided by bandits and they we're taken from me. But I was taken in the by the captain of the guard and raised by the guard of my village. All my life I spent training to one day kill the bandits who took my family from me. But in the end I never found them so I took to being a sellsowrd for a few years and travelled to this region looking for a more permanent employment." He takes a moment pause to breath and check his surroundings. "Yes I miss my adoptive father but encouraged me to find a job like his because he said I was born for it and so I'm here by his and my will."
