    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: when a player-to gain an advantage- uses the knowledge that their in-game character could not possibly know. this could include information/statistics on other in-game characters or creatures that the player had never seen before
    example: Player 1 stumbles upon a dragon, looks up information on said dragon, and now knows all of its weak points
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: when a player presumes or declares that his or her own action against another player character is successful without giving the other player character the freedom to act on their own or provide their own side to the scene. They may also be a player who tries to force others to participate in role-playing they don't want to engage in; to put into simpler words: the god-complex
    example: in battle, player 1 uses the emote "*Player 1 slices Player 2's throat, instantly killing them, and collects all their inventory*"

Folami looks off to side to make sure that the man was talking to her.

Folami: "Excuse me, are you talking to me?"

The man smiles and nods. Folami raises her head up to let out a laugh while smacking her forehead.

Folami: "Um...I'm not quite sure yet."

Folami holds her chin in her hand.

Folami: "Truth is, my father is the one who sent me here. He's been bugging me about getting out of the house so...here I am."

The man stands still, awkwardly smiling. Folami notices and speeds up the conversation.

Folami:"Sorry, I tend to babble. Is it ok if you just showed me around?"

The man nods and ushers Folami to follow him.

Folami: "Here we go."

For reasons such as:

 Ø Your powergaming definition and your metagaming definition are very vague and do not convey the full meaning, expand them in your own words to properly show you know what you’re talking about. You can review our wiki page about them here! 

Ø You cannot be 18, and born in Thales - I recommend researching the latest maps on our wiki, found here!

Ø Your Mother couldn't be a member of the Silver-Council in your backstory. The Silver-Council is an important part of Haelun'or's playerbase, being part of its IRP and OOC Leadership, and irply being a child of a former member of the Silver-Council would be quite a big deal, especially if she became an Impure High Elf by breeding with a Dark Elf. Please remove this from your backstory. However, an alternative is just making her a normal citizen of Haelun'or in your backstory.

Ø Your biography lacked the other sufficient lore reference (You need two, you currently have one (Luara). This can be settlement names, creature names (creatures that are unique to LOTC not your generic dragon or trolls), other major events that are explained in depth), however races, nations names and vaguely conveyed facts are not sufficient lore reasons. Make sure these match up with your age and the current server year of 8, of the Second Age. Some places you can look for references are, you can also PM on disc and I can help find more than the listed here:

  • Renelia  (This is a dissolved Dark Elf state that existed in Arcas, likely before your Persona was born. However you can use any information from it for your additional lore reference).

  • Elven Sub-Forum (You can find events here that are part of LOTC and contains a alot of info when you click into the post)

  • Dominion of Malin (Do know in order to use anything from Dominion, besides events such as things you were present at your age is required to match up, as the dominion was dissolved over 90+ years ago).

  • Dark Elves

Ø You can't be any sorts of noble citizen, that must be acquired through roleplay and such - Nor do High Elves really have any Nobility, especially to outside races. However, alternatively - you could mention desiring to live there? As they have a process for non-high elves to gain citizenship. Otherwise you're really, really close!
