    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: In roleplay with the set of standards and rules, powergaming can be avoided if all involved, including me does not partake in such feats or actions that are not meant to be a part of the entire experience, like insta killing or such power
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Using information that is not gained would make it seem like you are some sort of all powerful knowing person in roleplay, when you are not, and using outside information will ruin the experience, and make everyone else feel exploited using outside sources, etc...

You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”


"Me and my clan have been searching for a place to settle, after the pillaging and plundering of lands afar and wide, we look for more like us, act like us!" He said with great enthusiasm as he went up and about in action. "I have left my clan and family for now in order to find a better place to settle, so that we may be back together able to plunder loot and live large like we vikings were supposed to." 

 

With the past already went, and the future more of yet to come, this viking hopes to do what he is meant with his manifest destiny. He hopes that maybe he will find t he right home for him in this realm as he looks around for more. "Say, you all here have big beautiful nations with sights to see and roads to travel down yes?" He chuckled insistently. Knowing that this is his way he looked up in excitement for what was to come.
