Dunkis was born underneath the Mesa of Tahn in a dark cavern. His older brother Dulog always protected him, as Dunkis was the runt of the litter and not expected to survive infancy. As he grew however he became proficient and passionate about building and decided to devote his time to creating a better residence for his family. When his brother Dulog won a sum of money in an arena, the two decided to travel to a new land in Krugmar and find fortune there.
