    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: To avoid power gaming the player should not make the character do unrealistic actions. Per say the person was badly injured and the player made them get rid of their bruises and cuts through a godly action. That's power gaming if I had forced someone else to do a different action. That's power-gaming, because I'm forcing emotes onto another person. An example could be "Jing Xiao killed so and so with a clean arrow shot through the head." This is my interpretation and understanding of avoiding power gaming through roleplaying.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming disrupts fair roleplay because the characters would know more than they should. Per say knowing what the other characters will do even though they are not supposed to know any of the characters' actions. An example is Jing Yuan knowing what this one character will do even though in the roleplay he is not supposed to know any information about said character. Metagaming will make the roleplay unfun and unfair to all of the players.

Roleplay Scenario:

You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"Oh! I have been venturing around the world. I have found this town after a while of adventuring, there is not much else to my story ma'am. I am but a mere traveler. You have been expecting me?" He said with a puzzled look on his face. He was very confused on why the old hag was expecting him.
