Born the eldest child, Betty was pressured even as a mere child to work. Her family was not rich nor penniless but her father had to work hard in order to provide. Betty has a younger sister and an incoming sibling. The young lass spent most of her days assisting her father with his metalwork, playing with Ella (younger sister) or helping her pregnant mother. Though all the other little girls ask for her to come outside and play, as much as she'd enjoy that, family comes first: a phrase she firmly holds to this day. Months later, Betty is now more experienced with metalwork. However, her father had gotten himself in an accident whilst using a hammer and is no longer able to work. The family found themselves in poverty, barely affording food sources. At this point in Betty’s life, it had reached its lowest. Her father soon passed away from septic shock. Not even weeks later her mother was about to deliver a baby but dies from childbirth. Devastated, she takes her sister with the remaining funds they've got and move to the capital, Helena. Maybe they'll find more fortune there.
