    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming is taking knowledge you gained from outside the game or outside of IC, and use it IC to your advantage. Example: Johnny hears that there will be an attack on a village while in a non IC area. He warns the villagers that there will be an attack

Boragan was born Kal'Urguan. His father was a miner and he quickly followed his footsteps. As he aged, so too did his father. His father soon passed from old age and Boragan was passed down his father's pickaxe. He used it  to continue his fathers work. After he drained the mine he packed his things and set off looking for more things too mine. As he journeyed he wondered how it would be to settle down and help others for a change instead of himself. He thought of creating an inn, but his only skills were in mining and forge work. He thought long and hard about it before he decided to open a mining inn. Something to help fellow miners out by renting out supplies and providing a place to sleep and store things. He was excited to begin his work...but where to start?

Physical Description: Excited and ready to start his journey. His hair was red and his beard was full. He held himself quite proud.
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
