Dagnir was born to Ael'Tahlro and her husband, Caladan Castherik. He was raised on the edge of the great Haelun’or with his family. His father was a proven warrior (bravely fought in the War of Two Emperors) and a adequate adventurer among the high elves. When Dagnir was only 26, his father had an affair with a human and fathered two bastard children. Caladan was banished from Haelun'or and his family's name forever dishonored. Ael'Tahlro and Dagnir were allowed to stay in Haelun'or so long as they never saw Caladan again. As the years went by, Dagnir began to rebel against his elders. He blamed the high elf council for abandoning his father. Under constant scrutiny for his father's past actions, Dagnir began to build hate towards his peers. He began to neglect most of his schooling including categories including arts and sciences. He started to focus on his combat training. By the time Dagnir was 33, his mother became so depressed from losing her husband, her honor, friends, and close relatives that she jumped off the highest peak in Haelun'or. Having no family left in the city, Dagnir snuck out late at night and began searching for his father.
After finding his father, Dagnir decided to live with his father's new lover and half siblings. Though his siblings were not fully accepted as a pure Mali’aheral, Dagnir spent the next few years partially among the other elves, humans, and his father. During this time Dagnir grew a slight distaste for companionship. He bagan learning skills like hunting, tracking, and land navigation. Dagnir would occasionally meet travelers of different races, he began to see good in the races that were once portrayed as lesser and weaker. As Dagnir had the desire for both revenge for his family and the thrill of adventure in his heart, he is now ready to seek vengeance on the high elves.
*Dagnir eyed the man*
“Stand aside my human. My quest is urgent," he said briskly. “My quarrel does not concern thee. Just quickly point me in the direction of the housing district.” As the man stepped aside and pointed, "Thank you good sir," said Dagnir.
*With a grave look, Dagnir brushed past the man*
