    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is using information that you, in the real world know (for example, knowing that a treasure chest is behind *this* door out of all of the doors in this room) and using that knowledge to influence your characters actions (making your character open *that* door for no reason)
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: powergaming is roleplaying in a way that guarantees your success, such as dodging every blow that attempts to strike them, or anything similar.
