Borimir was born in a small hovel on the outskirts of Helena, the capital, he was a farmer here and he grew up here for the majority of his life. When he was born there was an ongoing war called the Rubern War, it is still going on (I think) and it has encompassed most of his life. Due to this war he was shovelled from the country side in to the capital itself for the safety it provided. This changed Bormirs whole outlook on life, he saw the men of Helena march out to war against the Elves on a daily basis - sometimes they won, sometimes they lost. This made Borimir wish to be a soldier so he started practising in becoming one, and practising sword play. He had an ambition from that day forth that he wanted to join the army and fight alongside those who once fought for him.
As well as this, there was some other experiences Borimir had growing up on Arcas. He had been born when there was a period of good harvest, so his parents made a lot of money during this harvest. But they werre gamblers so they ended up spending all of the money and wasting it. This left Borimir with nothing really, and less when they moved in to the capital. So Borimir has been rather poor most of his life and he has been humbled because of this. He knows not to flaunt wealth or attack the poor, or belittle people for being poor. He is good hearted.
Borimir walks in to the city, offering a wave. "I am looking for a swordsman who can spar with me and help me learn swordplay. Do you know anyone?" he asks with a raised brow - tapping the sheathe holding his blade.
