Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

 Faylith stands staring at the woman studying every winkle of her worn body. One not only aged by time but from her many experiences that Faylith would never get to know. The old ha...woman's eyes soften even more than before while she beckons her to sit once again. This time she placed herself promptly onto the tattered cushion that let out a puff of dust as she sat. She collects her thoughts trying to where to start from the many places she could.

 The old woman takes her hand holding it the same way a mother would hold her child's she asks me once more " I understand that it is hard to find the right place to start but once you get going you'll never stop!" 

 Faylith lifts her chest high with a newfound confidence " Well I've always wanted to be an archer and my mother was quite willing to teach me! We spent many days together in the courtyard, shouting at the stone wall that surrounded it. Well, that's when I could even shout that far!. Thats not to say I only spent time with my mother many mornings I spent with my father in his study as he read his favorite books about the many wonders of the w..." The woman was right the words kept flowing. Were her words coherent all the time? No! But still, she rambled on about her days as a child till her eventual teenage years. 
"So it's because of your mother you wanted to become an adventurer?" the old woman asked as she tried to move the conversation back on track. 

"Yes, she was. She, herself was an adventuring before settling down with my father. Her many stories of her companions and adventures made me long for a journey of my own you know...  prove myself." Faylith adjusts herself in her chair before turning the question onto the lady... what is your story?
