    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: using knowledge your character would not have. This ruins immersion and makes your character seem omniscient.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: assuming your character always succeeds. Interesting stories are built on conflict and difficulty. A character who never fails and is all powerful creates a boring story and is no fun for anyone else to interact with.
