Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"Well, I'm not entirely sure.." A pause from the young girl as the humid air swirls in hexing spirals amongst the duo of figures in the tent. Her body swivels- a hand separating the two sides of the cloak and promptly fluttering it to the side to allow her to sit. She takes a few short breaths, seemingly hesitant to speak- or perhaps confused by the words that come to mind. "You see- I woke in the middle of the forest with blood coming from my head and a lack of memory as to how I got there. I'm not particularly fond of this place.. I think.. but where would I go from here?" The girls eyes rotate around the room insecurely for a moment- scanning for holes in the tent or things to be weary of.. until blue pearls full of vigor settle back onto the old woman.
"I know not where I hail from, nor whom mine family is- only that I am proficient with a blade, and I seem to be instinctively untrusting.. no offense meant." A gentle tone- though the delivery of her words are direct and honest. She lacks sympathy in her voice, but it's clear that the woman is trying to be as polite as possible without revealing over specifics. "It seems I may have been attacked and thought dead, but to this day I'm unsure. It's been some months now- and I've taken up the name Alyx Hause."
