Merrymaker tries and may very well come across as a charming and gentle young man, when in reality; he is a manipulative sociopath. He will often attempt to use his charm to his advantage, and will not think twice about lying, no matter how absurd the deceit. He has a lust for gold; not for the sake of being rich, he just enjoys the look, the texture, and the thought of possessing the precious metal. He will sometimes lie about his name each time he introduces himself, and change his backstory each time he tells it. If fact, Merrymaker isn't even his real name, it is an ironic nickname that he had coined for himself. He is mischievous, and when he is not in trouble, he will surely start it. He is no anarchist, but thinks of himself as a sort of scientist, and his trouble and the reactions of the people around him his experiments. It is fun for him to observe people, though he cares little about them. He creates various lies about himself in order to get reactions, attention, and with hope: compensation from the people who buy his story. His favorite distortion is that he is, in fact; immortal, and can even recall his time at Petrus, and his ability to independently travel through realms. So, is he just a lair, or is he insane? The short answer is: both. It isn't quite clear if he actually believes his tall tales himself, or even remembers who he really is, but even though he is a cowardly, lying, cheating scum-bag, you cannot help but be entertained when Merrymaker is in the room.
