Clo7ure

You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

*I'd took in a deep breath as I took a seat* "Well back then as I child, I've been by myself for almost all my life, I had to steal to survive and feast on scraps to just to get by, I even was adopted by some humans, a woman and her children who I strolled upon in a forest, It was all going well I felt loved and cared for, I even had siblings but suddenly it all changed one day when I went out to collect some herbs for my mother, I took longer than usual because I wanted to surprise her with flowers I picked while heading back, as I arrived back to our small cabin I opened the door and it was dead silent, I saw shoe prints on the floor as if a stranger gotten in as I check rooms calling out for my mother and siblings, when I walk into my mothers room I witnessed a sight that I'll never forget for the rest of my life...It was my family murdered in cold blood, I'd cry and scream blaming myself for not being there to protect my family that day revenge burned into my heart I swear when I find the murderer I'll make it my only goal to have their head.
