Lake Dunham is a 19 year old adventurer of Hanseti descent. He was born to a prominent warrior father and a beautiful quiet mother. His father took shame in his size, and rejected him for it, saying he would be too weak and pitiful to fight. Lake took it upon himself to become one of the most loyal soldiers in his village, and an avid swordsman who could stand up to even the strongest opponents. His father continued to reject him until he died when Lake was 13. His mother, stricken with grief, packed his things and sent him outside the territory to live with an old hermit who his father once knew. The hermit taught Lake how to think and fight like a Ranger, utilizing speed and stealth to his advantage over multiple opponents, while maintaining his swordsmanship and dueling skills. Once he turned 18, he left the hermit to pursue a life of adventure, and now wanders the world in search of someone worthy of his loyalty.
