Your character has just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As they look around, their gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. They duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? She begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
((How do you respond?))
Example: He sits as requested and says "Ive come from a land very far away to meet you and its a privelige to be here as my trip was long and arduous". He then relaxes down a little bit. He lowers himself onto the cushion, the fabric sighing beneath his weight, and folds his hands together. "Ive walked through places that dont even remember their own names" he says quietly, eyes flicking to the drifting candles. "Every road i followed led me closer to whispers of you, of answers you alone possess." He swallows, jaw tightening. "Something was taken from me, long ago." His gaze returns to hers, steady despite the unease. "And i was told you might know how to get it back."
