    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is taking information learnt oocly and using it icly.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is when you do things icly that your character realistically shouldn't be able to do e.g. forcing an emote on another player, ignoring the symptoms of a sickness, beating somebody with years more experience in a fight

"I'm only here in my pursuit of arcane knowledge, and it is looking quite promising," He concludes as his attention is already being pulled away from the gentleman, and on to more interesting sights.
