    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Meta is when a character in the game suddenly acquires information that they have not been given in the game - e.g., my brother is playing on a different device in the same room as me and tells me that he needs help in another part of the game to destroy something, so I get my character to rush over to support him although my character was unaware of his presence in the game at all before that!
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: Powergaming is getting a character to do something that would not fit in with their core abilities, like making a very nervous character fight a monster, or instantly kill an Olog.

A quick note: You will want to update Aalin's background. Laureh'lin was an elven settlement from the continent of Atlas, which was abandoned about a hundred years ago in-character. Elvenesse is from the currently inhabited continent, Almaris. Because Elvenesse is relatively new, Aalin's mother's ancestors are probably not from there. Slight historical inconsistencies like this are okay in applications, but it will help your roleplay experience if you correct them when you begin playing the character.
