How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is where you find imformation out ooc'ly and use it to your advantage, for instance finding out a friend is in trouble and you go to help them without your character knowing the town/city/region they are in
How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: powergaming is where you emote killing/maiming someone without giving them a chance to respond.For instance swinging a greatsword to chop someone in half instantly without giving them chance to dodge
