    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: You are playing realistic for e.g. if I was to stab a player, I would write "Sir Papadopoulos is attempting to murder (name) by aiming at his neck" and not attack without saying anything.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: The game should be be realistic and act accordingly with whatever resources are available. For e.g. if we get attacked we shouldn't inform our friends that are currently offline and try to defend our base as is.

Roleplay Scenario:

You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

"I was born in a castle surrounded by tall, thick trees. The name of the region was Drapetsona". "I was a mere hunter minding my own business, when I suddenly heard screams coming outside of the castle". "I  grabbed my sword and rushed outside to see what was going on, and all I saw was blood and my beloved wife on the ground...She was MURDERED!!". Papadopoulos started crying. "After that incident I was never the same, all I wanted to do is find the murderer and make them pay". "After a long time, my search was in vain, that is when I decided to visit the King and Queen and inform them of the incident". "As I was there most trusted and skilled hunter". "I thought that they would understand me and help me figure it out...All they did was laugh as if they knew what was going on or if as they didn't care". "The next day I was invaded in my own home and dragged out of the castle by force, the King and Queen did not answer in any of my questions....and that was it". "I was kicked out of my home...My only love was brutally murdered...and I was BANISHED from the place were I was born". "From that day I could only think of one thing....REVENGE". Papadopoulos rushed outside to clear his mind.
