You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

Example: I take a hesitant seat on an old cushion in the tent. "I'm looking for something more," I respond. My words pierce through the eerie silence. I can feel her watching me as I look at my hands in my lap. I'm nervous and scared. I finally look up and our eyes meet. Her eyes are dark but welcoming at the same time. She begins to smile. "Tell me more child." You continue to look at her, a million thoughts racing through your mind. "My name is Lewis Baxter," I tell her. "I don't know how to start but I guess I'll start with my childhood." She looks at me with much wonder. "My family always did what they could to give me the best life although we didn't have much, we had enough to get by. I lived in a small village and grew up with the same group of friends. I always felt like there was much more I could do, so when I turned 18 I left with what little belongings I had and have been looking for my place in the world but I haven't yet found it.
