To Ian, he had no parents and no family to speak of. People of peasant origins adopted him and basically worked almost his entire life. His village life always had tension in the air as they always fear of an attack whether within or without,. Their freaks all came true, when changed when a group of raiders from an enemy town came in and destroyed his village. Seeing his family die in front of him, Ian ran desperately away from his village, and now he wonders, trying to find a new place to call home, an exciting but depressing adventure awaits him.
The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
((How does your character respond? Please ensure your response is at least six sentences long, and uses at least two actions.))
Example: "Good day, madam." He bows in front of the lady, "I am Ian Kytus. I just ran from my burning village. I am currently looking for work." He sits as if exhausted from a run. "Might I ask if there is any work to be done around here? I am currently looking for money before I go back on the road ahead." He looks at the lady with pleading in his eyes. "I'm also kinda hungry". He looks at the amount of delicious food beside him. “I will take that apple if you don’t mind me saying”. He takes the apple without the bar tenders permission. “As far as what I’m looking for in the future well let’s just say I’m looking to explore the world and maybe settle down somewhere”.
