    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: When a player uses of out of game knowledge or resources to affect an in game decision, for example if you were to tell someone information about another player that your character should not actually know in game or if I were to know names or information
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: If you were to describe your character doing something with or to someone that would regularly require the other player to play along such as a fight or sexual encounter or if you were to make your character have outrageous strength.

Palivan, like his parents was born in Laureh'lin, he had a great childhood climbing trees and learning to live side by side with mother nature. But at a young age he lost his parents in the Battle of Leyulin his parents sent him and his younger sister with some nearby Elves that were retreating early knowing no good was to come of the battle. Palivan waited in his new home of Cerulin awaiting his parents arrival which never happened. He spent his time in a home for orphan Elves that had lost their parents in the battle. He spent his ongoing years reading, learning to cook, how to use certain spells and trying to just cope with the fact that the life he had once known to be gone. He finally got out of that home and traveled great distances trying to learn the land and just figure out how to make the world a better place. Helping any village folk he came across, but this was not all easy he had a few close calls with death himself but always found the strength to push through and still to this day he pushes on just trying to live his life and be better than he ever thought he could've been.

Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
