You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”

John looks at the old hag and nods sitting on the cushion with a deep sigh on landing. He brushes his hands together a bit of dried dirt coming off of them. "fraid not much to tell ma'am. I am naught but a simple farmer." His eyes mostly closed taking in the smells of the candels and a moments peace. "I simple seek refuge after my family farm burned down to..." he trails off thinking maybe a moment to long; his eyes open wide rapidly moving a few moments before going straight forward. He finally manages out. "A mistake that shant be repeated ma'am. I plan to start a new life, and a new farm. and live in peace. maybe find a few drinking buddies." he nods as if almost agreeing with himself, or maybe trying to convince himself. "I just want to find a nice place to live, work, and enjoy the passing seasons. I think i better save my breath to cool my porridge. tell me about you."
Although generally a more quite and reserved man he seems inatly curious he'd prefer to ask questions and get the conversation off him. If the right questions were asked he would reiterate he really looks forward to enjoy the passing seasons.
