    In your own words, what is powergaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Metagaming is the action of using information or resources that you acquired OOC to your advantage in RP. Ex. If you are in a combat situation and call OOC for help.
    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is forcing actions and outcomes on other players without giving them a chance to react and decide what happens to their character. Ex. Bob: Bob stabs Linda, killing her instantly.

Solaris was born to a Snow Elf mother and most likely a High Elf father in Fenn. Solaris never had the luxury to meet her father and has grown to resent High Elves because of it.  At age 15 she joined the Snow Elf military, but has grown to despise it. Her small stature makes physical combat challenging for her, and she detests the mere thought of following orders. Fenn has begun to bore her and she now seeks adventure outside of the Princedom, this is driven by her lust for knowledge and experience. She always was a good student, back in Fenn, but her study of the Snow Elf history has left her unsatisfied with existence. Ever since learning the history of Aelthos and her Snow Elf side, she became extremely self-conscious of what she sees as "impure." In fact, she wishes to study the circumstances of the experiment further. Her disdain of High Elves and her dissatisfaction with Snow Elves has left her reserved and defensive.

Physical Description: Solaris is short for an elf at 5' 2" and about 90 lbs. She has pale skin, silvery hair, and lilac eyes. Her severe face suggests her High Elf ancestry
Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”
