    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is the usage of information that's not accessible to your character in your roleplay. Essentially, the character is acting omniscience to what he/she has available to them.

Ø  Your metagaming definition is a little off the mark- I'd suggest revising this using our LOTC wiki page, where the most correct and relevant information regarding these terms are :)

Ø  Please include at least one lore reference in your character biography- it could be a city name, world event or similar. Use our wiki page to find this lore

Ø  You cannot have any sort of knowledge in magic to start off with (i.e knowing necromancy). Magic is sone through applications on the forum once you've established yourself on the server
