    How do you avoid powergaming in roleplay?: Metagaming is when you use information ig/irp that your character hasn't obtained that you have. Ex. you are getting robbed at crossroad A, you dm your friend and they come to help and their character doesn't know any of this.
    How does metagaming disrupt fair roleplay?: when you make an action, add a trait, etc that gives you an immediate upper hand. Ex. Player A has Player B in a headlock, Player B is typing, Player A violently snaps Player B's neck.

   I reply with "Isn't that a little random, I just saw you for the first time, but if you must know it is aspirations that I have that led me here." I then nod and then I start to walk away, not in a way that shows that I think I am more important.
