    In your own words, what is metagaming, and why should it be avoided in roleplay?: Powergaming is when a character does an action that they'd be unable able to do in reality.Powergaming is awful for roleplaying as it tends to break a persons immersion. Powergaming is usually displayed by an emote made by players that't can't be responde

A  Human warrior (Highlanders). He has emerald green eyes, is around 110ibs has short brown hair. He is apart of the hanseti. He is fair skinned. He loves to battle but also enjoys the simpler thins in life. Rarganor is always seeking a challenge. He enlisted in the military to curb his overwhelming sense of destiny. Rarganor is hardy and resilient. He is around 6feet 3 inches. He can adapt too the cold and winter climates. Rarganor loves to drink. His large mass allows for him to be able to handle his ale. he speaks in Marian. He has a large respect for soldiers of his realm Rarganor values the traits of honor and justice. The character wears a green outfit with a mask that covers everything but his eyes.He has grown up on his own has his family abandoned him. He was born in 1692 . He was in born in Atlas. He was born in the city Haense

Roleplay Scenario: The traveller has just arrived in a small town. As they look around, their gaze is met with run down houses and shops. They duck into one of the shacks, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the small room, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town?" She begins, then pauses to study their face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a chair, “Where do you come from? What do you hope to make of yourself?”

Ø  Your metagaming and powergaming definitions are incorrect, vague and lacking in detail. Please add more to these (Maybe examples too), and refer to our LOTC Metagaming & Powergaming wiki pages for the most correct and relevant info (Just keep in mind not to plagiarize)

 

Ø  All lore used in game must be from the world that LotC is set in. You may not use lore from other books or films such as Lord of the Rings. LotC has its own unique setting, which you can find out more about using the LotC wiki.

 

Ø  Your character’s biography is too short. Please extend this to at least two decent sized paragraphs. You could include things such as your character’s place of birth, family, profession and any important events that have happened to them.

 

Ø You must include at least one server lore reference in your character biography (other than your character’s race or family, or one of the server’s maps). This lore reference could be something like the name of the city your character was born in or an event such as a war that your character has lived through. Please fix this using the wikia and forums for examples to use.

 

Ø Your character’s interesting facts & traits must be sentences of at least five words.

 

Ø  Your character description should be used to describe the physical attributes of your character. Please edit this.

 

 

You’re nearly there however there are a few changes that you must make to your application before you can be whitelisted. You have 24 hours to make the changes above. Once you’ve finished editing your application, shoot me a message here on the forums or through discord and I’ll take another look.

Ø  Your character may not know any magic. Once you have been whitelisted, you can seek a magic teacher in roleplay.

 

Ø Your character cannot have been born in 1318. The current year on the server is 1710. Due to their age, your character cannot have been born in Reza, because it has only been established recently. Your character would have been born in the previous map, ‘Atlas’, which has now been vacated.
