You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.”
Sits upon the cushion the hag had gestured to and begins to tell his tale with a gruff and scratchy voice, " I have wandered beyond many forests searching for people I could trust and begin a life from a distance of those who wish me harm."
Backstory - He was born to a human father and elven mother making him a half and half. His whole life he was treated like an outsider and was abandoned by his father due to the father having a human natural family. His mother fled from where his father found her and stayed in the city of the elven. His mother became a bartender for an inn within the city and he was born and raised to follow suite. Unlike his mother's attempts at upbringing him as a normal city elf he would go into the forest and play with the wood life wanting to learn how they spoke and play with them all the time. In the end it ended up giving him the powers to communicate with the woodlen life and nature around him. His father will eventually try to find him again to try to take him to be a slave in the human world but that's not till he is an adult.
